I'm thinking of all of the soldiers and civilians who have protected our freedom through the years. We visited this moving site of a horrendous WWII battle just outside of Keysersberg, France. There was a cemetery atop the hill. Looking out over the beautiful, peaceful vineyards, it was hard to believe such fighting had taken place here.
