Our last night in Semur en Auxois, we visited the carnival that was in town. It had been set up across the street from the Intermarche supermarket. After a quick kebab supper, we walked down the road, hoping the rain would hold off. The lights were brilliant and colorful, and it was fun to see the kids enjoying rides and games. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it began to pour down rain. We took shelter under a bumper car ride for a bit. After we watched a small boy expertly play the target shooting game, we noticed the sun starting to peek out. Looking over our shoulders, we caught sight of a gorgeous double rainbow. What a reward for waiting through the rain!
