I love photos together, but sometimes it takes a tripod or, in this case, Photoshop to get us in the same frame. This photo was taken outside the city walls of Avila, Spain. Although they have been fortified in the years since they were built, the magnitude of the walls is impressive. It is amazing still to see walled cities today, while outside the walls (ok, and, frustratingly enough, inside them too), cars zip along, and planes soar overhead.
