Galicia's Costa da Morte

Galicia's Costa da Morte, aka the "coast of death" is a beautiful, windswept coastline on Spain's northwest coast.  When we visited, there had been a significant lack of rain, so the grasses were not their usual green.  However, I found the yellowed landscapes against the sandy shore line very picturesque, especially seeing pops of color in various plants scattered in the dunes.

This particular day began as a rainy one, and the gray clouds and fog that lingered over the horizon made it even more scenic.  Even the old statues and carvings seemed to take on that soft, yellowed hue.

And, finally, a digital scrapbooking layout of our trip to the coast.
